Managed Hosting & Website Care

One technical contact for the environment and the website running inside it.

Eligible clients can combine hosting, monitoring, maintenance and technical support through WebMasterSolutions.ca—without being left to coordinate several providers when something stops working.

A transparent service model

Managed by WebMasterSolutions. Powered by established infrastructure providers.

WebMasterSolutions.ca is not a data-centre operator and does not own the underlying server infrastructure. We work with established hosting providers and manage the website environment on the client’s behalf.

When an eligible website is hosted within an environment we manage, we can access the relevant configuration, logs, backups, database, DNS settings and application files more efficiently. This can reduce diagnostic delays and may allow us to resolve certain problems more quickly.

Managed hosting does not guarantee that every website problem can be prevented or repaired, but it gives the client a clear technical contact and gives WebMasterSolutions better visibility into the systems we are responsible for managing.

Hosting is part of the care—not a bargain product sold by itself.

Every hosted client receives a defined care agreement. The service is designed for businesses that value responsible technical oversight more than the lowest possible price for disk space.

VISIBILITY

Faster access to evidence

Authorized access to logs, configuration, files, databases and backups can shorten the path from a reported symptom to a useful diagnosis.

CONTINUITY

One technical history

Maintenance records, deployments and known conditions remain connected instead of being divided among several disconnected vendors.

RESPONSIBILITY

A clear first contact

The client contacts WebMasterSolutions first. We determine whether the issue belongs to the website, the managed environment or another provider.

Eligibility before migration.

Initial technical review

We review the application, technology, storage, traffic, integrations, email dependencies and current hosting condition before accepting responsibility.

Stabilization when required

A compromised, unstable, undocumented or outdated system may require a paid diagnosis and approved remediation before migration.

Appropriate infrastructure

Resource-intensive applications, ecommerce, sensitive information, high traffic and dedicated services require custom evaluation and pricing.

Domain ownership stays with the client

The client should remain the legal owner of the domain and preferably keep it in an account they control. WebMasterSolutions receives delegated DNS access when needed.

Business email remains separate

Business email should normally remain with a dedicated email provider rather than being treated as part of the web-hosting environment.

Migration is not an automatic repair.

Moving a website may improve manageability, but it does not erase inherited defects, unsafe code, compromised accounts or third-party service problems.

Managed-hosting questions.

Clear boundaries make the service easier to understand before any website is moved.

Does WebMasterSolutions own the servers or data centre?

No. Established third-party providers supply the underlying infrastructure. WebMasterSolutions selects and manages an appropriate environment and acts as the client’s technical contact for the covered service.

Does managed hosting guarantee that the website will never go offline?

No. Monitoring, maintenance and better technical visibility can reduce risk and improve response, but no hosting or software service can guarantee that every interruption or defect will be prevented.

Can I keep my current hosting provider?

Yes. The non-hosted Website Care, Business Application Care and Priority Application Care plans remain available for clients whose current environment is suitable.

Will WebMasterSolutions own my domain or website?

No. The client retains ownership of the domain, website content and client-owned application code. Access is provided only as required to deliver the agreed service.

Can every website be accepted for managed hosting?

No. Technical condition, application requirements, traffic, data sensitivity, provider restrictions and required resources must be reviewed first. Some systems require stabilization or custom infrastructure.

Are new features included in the monthly price?

Only work that fits the plan’s included service time and defined coverage is included. New features, redesigns, extensive repairs and work beyond the monthly allowance are authorized and billed separately.
